We are open at the DSBVI in Salt Lake City. If you need to check to be certain someone is there before you make your travel plans, please call 801-520-3766 and speak with Donni. She can sell you cab coupons, the UCB t-shirts, screwdriver/hammers, 20/20 pens, signature guides, and the braille measuring spoons and cups. You can pay your membership at the office and make reservations for the activities. These purchases can also be made by calling Tina at 801 245-9264 to pay by credit card. Also, Adrienne Clayton keeps the office open from 10:00am to 12:30pm on Fridays. If you are making a special trip to visit the office, we recommend you give one of these ladies a call at 801-520-3766 to be sure she is there when you come to make purchases or conduct other business.

This class is open to any blind or visually impaired person in the state of Utah and is currently being held on Wednesdays at the Utah State Division of Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 250 N 1950 W, Salt Lake City, in room 301 from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Classes are available 40 weeks of the year. The class will be taking a break in the month of November and December, at the discretion of the instructor.

For Users of Dog Guides -Greatest Paws on Earth

July 16 via phone conference call

Greatest Paws on Earth is an independent group of people interested in guide dogs and issues concerning them. They meet each month on the 3rd Thursday via conference call to talk about a different topic in which dog guide users may be interested. Our next meeting will be on July 16. The call-in number is 800-835-8395, access code 1623768. For more information on the organization contact its president, Sandy England, at syeangel@comcast.net
